A veteran suspected of being a bar shooting massacre, claiming four live in a 9,000-person western rural town, triggering Huge pursuit It lasted for a whole week.

Friday, August 1

At about 10:30 a.m. local time, Brown entered the Owl Bar in Anaconda, a local watering hole he called the Common Hole and opened fire. According to Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, who lives next door to the bar, “probably knows these customers.”

Manhunt, Montana, expands suspects for murder suspects, stolen survival equipment after bar massacre

Brown was identified as the suspect almost immediately. A SWAT team raided his home, but he wasn’t there.

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte confirmed in a Facebook post in the afternoon that he knew about the attack.

“I’m closely monitoring the situation involving active shooters in Anaconda. Please join Susan and me in praying for the victims, loved ones and brave law enforcement officers,” he said on Facebook.

The FBI and the ATF subsequently announced that they went to the scene to assist in locating Brown.

A massive hunt was launched on the sakiyama hills of nearby Stumptown Road, which included the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Center, the Granite County Sheriff’s Office, the Montana Highway Patrol, the FBI and the ATF. The area has been released with locks.

Authorities found a Ford F-150 and they said Brown was driving, but he wasn’t in the truck, where there was clothes, food and outdoor gear.

Later that day, Brown was identified as a former armored crew member army From January 2001 to May 2005, he served in the National Guard from April 2006 to March 2008. He was deployed to Iraq from February 2004 to March 2005, and when he left active duty, he was a sergeant. The following year, he joined the Montana National Guard and served until 2009.

Saturday, August 2

Authorities released a shirtless brown photo of a cement staircase, wearing black shorts. They said the photo was taken shortly after the shooting.

Sunday, August 3

Nordson identified the victims in an afternoon press conference and described the search as a “priority” for Montana.

The victims were identified as Daniel Edwin Baillie, 59, Nancy Lauretta Kelley, 64, David Allen Leach, 70, and Tony Wayne Palm, 74. Kelley was a bartender at the time. The other three victims are customers.

Northon announced that the U.S. Marshal Service offered a $7,500 reward for the information that led to the arrest of Brown.

He also confirmed Brown used a rifle in the shooting, noting that Brown could use a gun.

Knusen reiterated that Brown should be seen as “armed and extremely dangerous.”

“There is definitely a concern that he might return to town,” Northon said. “From all the signs, it was an unstable man who walked in and murdered four people for no reason.

Monday, August 4

Continue searching for Brown on Monday.

The U.S. Marshal Service provided rewards for information, resulting in his capture to $10,000.

Tuesday, August 5

Gianforte has held his first press conference since the BAR massacre.

He said he was flanked by local, state and federal law enforcement officers, and he said he had spoken with the victim’s family to express his condolences on behalf of Montana.

“Since the tragic incident, our Montana law enforcement officers have been pursuing their pursuits, going all out to bring justice to the suspect, Michael Brown,” Gianforte said.

He added that Montana National Guard helicopters from Camp Helena and its four crew members flew 19 hours over the weekend to assist in the search and transport them into and out of the mountain search area.

He said under Montana law, he was able to release emergency state funds to local law enforcement agencies as needed, as required.

“I received a request from Anaconda-Deer Lodge this morning and a moment ago I signed an executive order to support the efforts of local law enforcement,” he said. “While the state has supported this investigation in support of staff and aviation assets, today’s action will ensure more financial resources are provided as we continue to track this offender.”

Knudsen provided the latest news on the ongoing search and asked questions from reporters.

He cited an ongoing investigation that he could not confirm whether authorities had recovered the weapons used in the shooting or whether Brown left any clues about his motives.

The search is still on Wednesday with no new updates from authorities.

Thursday, August 7

Authorities continued to look for Brown Thursday, while local residents told Fox News numbers that they were worried he would return to the town.

“He’s always crafty. Like his ideas are always not on the wall, he always writes crazy stories. But he’s a really cute guy,” said Jill Rowles, a bartender at Kennedy Bar, a block from Owl Bar, who told Fox News.

Rowles is a friend of Kelley, a victim and bartender at Owl Bar.

She said: “The town is just scared. Everyone is scared.

“Everyone was shocked, hey, everyone was on the edge. She was bartending, and I kept looking at those doors, she said, gesturing towards the two entrances of the bar.”

Another resident, Matt Fontenot, describes a distressed town that spends a week on the edge.

“I feel like the air has almost changed, like the town’s attitude is a little more submissive, just because people feel they don’t really control their lives right now,” he said.

Friday, August 8

Several residents of the town told Fox News Digital that people long to conclude that Brown is dead or alive—so the community can grieve its losses of peace.

Suddenly, in the afternoon, the information began to spread and Brown was in custody.

Shortly thereafter, Gianforte confirmed the news on social media.

At around 4:30 p.m., Gianforte and Knudsen were once again surrounded by local, state and federal law enforcement, appearing from the Deer Lodge County Courthouse for a press conference to discuss Brown’s arrest.

“Our brave men and women didn’t waste a second in law enforcement,” Gianfolt said. “They started to take action, began the search and promised to wait until they found the suspect before giving up. Today, I thank Michael Brown for being arrested, arrested and detained.”

Knudsen then entered the podium.

“It’s really an unprecedented level of cooperation,” Nordson said. “It’s a wonderful day. We got our men.”

He particularly thanked the U.S. Marshal for his service, calling them “a huge asset to us today” and said they were “directly involved” in Brown’s Friday concerns. He revealed that 130 people participated in the search and the community’s skills also played an important role in capturing Brown.

Brown was tracked near a barn on a private property about five miles from the Owl Bar.

Officials said he was taken to a local hospital for medical cleanup and was scheduled to jail.

Authorities cited the ongoing investigation to provide some other details.

The allegations against Brown have not been made public and he has no motive.
