Keyshawn Davis accused WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk and his team of sending him a box of bananas, watermelons and notes to his room at a press conference today at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York.
When facing challenger Keyshawn (12-0, 8 KO) during the press conference, Berinchyk said he didn’t speak English and said someone tried to create Fake hype The stunt that sends watermelon and banana to his room by pulling.
Berinchyk’s denial
Davis didn’t buy Berinchyk’s denial and said he would take it out in the fight on Friday. He assumed that Berinchyk sent these things, but there was no actual evidence, he was guessing. Anyone can send it.
Keyshawn Davis: “I want to fix this guy comes to America to give me watermelon and bananas with notes on it. It’s professional, I feel like it’s racist and you just make this fight more personal.” Final press conferenceaccusing Berichyk of sending the items to him.
“This guy took a box of watermelon and bananas to the United States and went to my room. I treated it as a racist and I got something. Look at his coach’s face.”
Denys Berinchyk: “I can’t speak English, I don’t write English, I’ve seen his message in what media. It’s weird even mentioning this. Some people want to find some hype people do it now.”
Keyshawn: “He didn’t say that. You all did. You did. I’m going to call your ** for you. So come on Friday night and know what will happen to both of you. Champ (sponsor Alex Krassyuk) , this is not your performance. This is his performance. Let him (Berinchyk) speak.”
