A town hall hosted by Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican representative in Cobb County, Georgia, was repeatedly interrupted by protesters on Tuesday night. The video shows that police evacuated three people within minutes of Green’s stage, and the police evacuated a man on the ground. Acworth police told CBS News that about six people were removed from office, three of whom were arrested. Officials confirmed that the Taser had been used in the second attendee. Two arrested persons face simple battery charges against law enforcement officers and hinder them. One third was accused of vulgar language. Green told reporters she was “very grateful” for how the police handled the incident, saying she was “happy they were thrown away”. The police department said in a statement that its officials were “threatening, physically resisting and hurting” while removing protesters.
