Abbott threatens to have more Republican seats if Texas Democrats leave

Republican Texas Government Greg Abbott If the democracies don’t return to Austin, it threatens to increase the party’s rezoning margins.

Democrats in Lone Star made national headlines for skipping small towns and protested Abbott and Republicans repainted the maps to create five congressional seats for their parties in the hope of expanding tight House margins by mid-2026.

In a preview clip of Friday installment payment “Ruthless” podcastAbbott suggested he might not stop in five seats.

“What I think now is that if they don’t start showing up, I might start expanding,” Abbott said. “We might add six or seven or eight new seats to the Republican side.”

“The wall is just ten feet,” Josh Holmes joked “ruthless.”

Abbott believes the fight ends with Democratic lawmakers returning to Texas, whether it’s “tomorrow,” “next week” or “next month.”

“They will come back or we will be able to track them. One way or another, they will come back and will pass through these maps,” Abbott said.

The Texas governor also touted his ongoing efforts to get Democratic lawmakers removed from office, hoping that this would be a deterrent for their future attempts to pull similar stunts.

“How embarrassing is that?” Abbott shouted the Democrats. “It’s something kids do, you know, ‘I’m losing the game! I’m going to walk away.’ It’s not how adults work.

Abbott says the nationwide debate over Grimand’s outbreak has attracted attention from blue countries including Illinois, including Illinois Stephen Colberthe teased in the “crazy” area of Illinois Democratic sculpting while communicating with Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker.

Pritzker, who has been providing political shelter for fleeing Texas Democrats, joked that “kindergarten class” attracted Illinois’ reallocation map.

“Americans are now aware of the way all these blue states are armed,” Abbott said. “They are now seeing maps of Illinois in New York and they see 40% of Massachusetts vote for President Trump, but there is zero Republican congressional district there. Look at what’s going on in California. The worst example of the Grimands is the Democratic state.
