The White House opened fire on Sunday after ABC News Correspondent Terry Moran, Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and the president’s vice president. Donald Trump In the now-deleted social media posts, he called them “world-class” haters.
“Miller is a person with hatred power. He is a world-class hater,” Moran wrote in the now-deleted post. “You can see this by looking at him because you can see that his hatred is his spiritual nourishment. He ate hatred.”
“Trump is a world-class hatred. But his hatred is a means to achieve his end, and his (sic) his own glory. It’s his spiritual nourishment,” Moran continued.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to X’s post Sunday, calling it “irrelevant and unacceptable.”

Leavitt also joined Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” and told host Maria Bartiromo that Moran should be “an impartial and professional journalist.”
“This is someone who works on major TV networks, and it’s unacceptable and irrelevant remarks,” Leavitt added. “We’ve been in contact with the ABC and they say they’ll take action, so we’ll see their work. But I think it shows the distrust of the American public in traditional media.”
Miller also responded to Moran’s comments on Sunday.
“The most important fact about Terry’s total collapse is what it shows about corporate press in the United States. For decades, the privileged hosts and journalists who narrate and protect our society have been in the pose of journalists. Terry took off his mask,” Miller wrote.
Vice President JD Vance also called Moran on Sunday and said the position was “full of hatred.”
“Remember, whenever you watch ABC’s coverage of the Trump administration,” Vance added.
ABC News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
