In an era when new beauty products seem to spread every second, it’s hard to know which products are actually worth investing in just exaggerated fashion. But despite the constant influx of new products, a handful of beauty staples have stood the test of time. think Chanel’s Miss Cocoa perfume,,,,, Clinique’s honey is almost lipstick certainly, Benefent’s Benetint Lip & Cheek Stains.
As a makeup that loves easy to use that looks natural and glowing with minimal effort, you’ll be surprised to know that until recently I’ve never tried Benefit’s iconic benetint Lip & Cheek stains, and until recently, it’s a very simple reason: the shadows didn’t get my interest. Although I heard nothing except my beauty editor, Cool backgroundthe bright reds and pinks of this color are available in Never Never to Me. But when two new shadows of this iconic formula fall on my desk, I know I have to give it a try.
history
Founded in 1976 and originally created by founders Jane and Jean Ford, Benetint (then called Rose Tint) is a custom-made color for exotic dancers who wanted to enhance her nipples performance.
After the initial success. The original rose red hue expanded to four other shades and has since been discontinued. The brand now comes in three versatile shades that can be purchased in-store and online by a variety of different retailers.
shadow
From left to right: black cherries, roses, raspberries
Bennet now has three shades: original Rose (Real Red), raspberry (Berries pink) and Black cherry (Burgundy brown). All three shades can appear or be built to give more pigment on the skin, meaning it works for a wide range of skin tones. My personal favorite is the shaded dark cherries because it looks like the natural flush on my deeper skin.
formula
There are many Cheeks and lipsticks Currently, in the market, while most people have a jelly or serum-like texture, Bennett is still a true aqua color, giving it a longer life on the skin and a more natural color than an oil-based color. The texture also makes it easier to apply on other products without disturbing the rest of the makeup base.
My main concern before trying this product is that it will be too dry on my already dehydrated skin due to its moisture content and is harder to mix. I’m also skeptical of the accuracy this product can be applied to my lips and cheeks because the formula is so runny when I try it in my hands.
Package
The Benetint is housed in a glass bottle with an applicator with a small DOE foot to help with precise application. shadow “Black Cherry” and ‘raspberry’ Can be purchased in 6ml bottles while the original shadows ‘Rose’ Can be purchased in 6 ml or 10 ml bottles. Initially it seemed to be a small price, but after trying it, I can definitely guarantee a little bit of the way to go. Even if you prefer a pigmented finish and apply multiple layers, a bottle will certainly last for at least a few months.
app
I initially planned to use my fingers to blend the products together. But, immediately after I applied it with my doe feet, it started to shed my face. So I quickly picked up the brush and decided to mix it this way.
With a blush brush, the product immerses in the skin very well, but I want to note that you have to work faster with this watery formula cream or Liquid blush. Even if I mix it together, I can feel the formula drying onto the skin very quickly, which means you don’t have a lot of time to work with. So I’m going to use my fingers to fuse the product together because I’m worried about uneven pigmentation on my cheeks.
result
Before using benettint’s phenylacetic acid in “black cherry”.
Benefit’s styrene cut was used in “Dark Cherry”.
I love the natural “dark cherries” on my skin. As I mentioned before, I hate red blush, so I initially worried that this will look too red on a cooler complexion. However, it gives me a skin-like rinse, which is the perfect balance between glow and naturalness.
I especially like the feeling after the app. Although you can clearly see the blush on my cheeks, the color settles onto the skin in a way that cannot be discovered by touch. It also doesn’t leave a tone on my finger after the quick transfer test, which means it doesn’t feel uncomfortable after the initial application. Although it is metastasis-resistant, my cheeks don’t feel too dry after my skin is ready; however, when my lips are dry, I decided not to use it as a lip gloss.
If I were to try it on my lips, it would most likely be the formula I need to cover it on it; however, I would definitely use it as a cheek color for “no makeup” and full-covered makeup day.

While I would warn people like me that this is not available without adequate skin preparation (I make sure my skin is thoroughly hydrated before applying), it can last all day without getting dirty or needing to be reapplied.
Overall, I was impressed by this product. You need a price of £23, which both avoids buybacks and lasts for a long time, and I really recommend this product to anyone who wants to emit radiation, natural blush.
