Artificial Intelligence (AI) – a focused blockchain protocol Halliday says it raised $20 million to help fund its Agent Workflow Protocol (AWP), which aims to speed up development Decentralized Finance (fefi) applications and avoid programmers writing smart contracts.
The Series A financing is led by the Crypto division of venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz (A16Z).
“Our mission is to pioneer the software era of blockchain, enabling developers to build applications in hours rather than years,” Halliday said in an email announcement. “With Halliday, you can’t write a smart contract again.”
Halliday’s codeless blockchain automation may help accelerate blockchain adoption and shift development from smart contracts to AI-driven workflows, making blockchains easier to access, scalable and efficient.
The funding round after the 2022 Halliday’s $6 million seed (also led by A16Z Crypto) includes donations from the Avalanche Blizzard Foundation, reliable neutral and ALT layers.
