As Jordanian brand Continue to build the 40th signature model in Michael Jordan’s iconic sneaker legacy, two new outstanding color schemes will drop. Jordan 40 in the air “Blue Suede” and “Dusty Rose” will be apart just one month, and everyone will push in different visual directions with performance-driven silhouettes while sharing the same technologically avant-garde foundation.
This marks the first Nike sneakers to pair full-length Zoomx foam with a Zoom Strobel unit, offering unparalleled softness, responsiveness and increased energy returns, a major leap in the SVV Six Oscillation designed for explosive explosive ammunition and long-body comfort. Structural elements such as 360-degree webbing, asymmetric collars and unique 40-degree traction mode can maintain outline dynamics and performance. This pair provides a subtle design nod Air Jordan Classic – From Jordan Air 5 Inspiration feels the tongue Jordan Air 3 Borrowed from Jordan Air 13. The new “40” logos are stamped, marking the shoes’ placement in the evolving design.
The “blue suede” that dropped on August 20 is cool and low-key. It wears a luxurious light armory blue suede, wraps the toe box and midfoot and matches a black nubuck overlay on the gaze, collar and heel. Contrast is vivid and exquisite – not loud in motion. The blue-gray tips bring subtle depth, while the crispy white midsole gives the entire look and a standout for the blue. It’s a clean, versatile pair that can be worn on the court or styling.
While “Dusty Rose” will be released on September 20, it offers a bolder, more stylish sight. The upper is fully saturated, soft and influential Arctic pink-painted on patented and pebbled leather. The result is a monochromatic rich tone finish. The patented elements of gloss capture light and amplify the sculptural properties of the outline, while the textured leather increases depth. The black and anthracite accents fit the shoes, cleverly rooting the design without pulling out the focus from the bold dusty rose tones.
Although both versions have the same structural DNA and performance benefits, they tell a completely different aesthetic. Together, they demonstrated the scope and potential of the Air Jordan 40 – a model that was clearly just beginning.
Air Jordan 40 “Blue Suede” is scheduled to be released on August 20, 2025, followed by the “Dusty Rose” on September 20. The retail price for two is $205.
