My career as a beauty editor often places me in a unique setting with talented people who inspired me to reevaluate how I do self-care. While I do spend most of my working hours trying beauty products and then spend the rest of my time researching, reviewing and sharing my results with readers, I always find myself back to the moment Industry experts This can only be obtained based on IFKYK, and can be broken down for me.
When I have the opportunity to ask questions about new products, treatments or methods, I usually have my phone ready to take notes and have other questions brewed in my brain before answering the last question. But through unique interactions with experts who inspire these loud thought silences, I have the opportunity to take advantage of quieter thoughts. During my first few months of living and working in New York, I was very happy to meet one of the special people: Gillian Wrighta beautician and educator with more than 20 years of experience.
Wright invites me to visit her skincare suite Bloom Beauty Lounge take over Alchemy of Alchemyuse a two-person treatment with yourself and long-term friends, master beauticians and Reiki/Bio Energy Healing experts Samantha Roberts. Wright’s official website described the meeting as “real contact and dynamic consistency” and then provided more insights into the treatment of both arrays. It starts with the face of everyone’s skin care needs and balances the conclusions with reflexology and frequency.
Below, I’ll share what I’ve learned from my experience and everything I’ve learned directly from Wright and Roberts since then. Spoiler Alert: It’s niche, luxurious, and full of all the good things you need to thrive in our busy lifestyle.
While the easiest way to describe touch alchemy is a treatment, I agree with Wright and Roberts that an experience that anyone sees as an extremely niche will be more accurate. Each part of it is focused on grounding and aligning the body with energy. Touch plays a significant role in the experience, making the strong partnership and silent communication between Wright and Roberts central to the center stage. A few weeks later, I had the chance to catch up with both of them and finally had the opportunity to learn more about what it was going on and what these master aestheticians do when you feel happy.
According to Wright, the Alchemy Experience’s idea is the result of years of friendship with Roberts and is made possible by their shared synergistic energy and unshakable trust. Wright presented Roberts with the idea of introducing collaborative treatment as the latter became a licensed masseur, the service combines the benefits of custom faces with reflexology, chakra balance and energy work. “We are confident enough to know that this experience will be amazing, and that’s it! With everything going on in the world and our focus on technology falling, we want to bring a rare and unique experience that reflects our relationships and our professionalism,” Wright said.
Wright tends to get into cutting-edge technology, draws on their unique gifts and is eager to make some special gifts together so they can share with clients in combined, attentive meetings. “When will you have two chances master Aestheticians are working for you at the same time? She said it was a very special experience. The close collaboration sparked Roberts’ interest (he had a quiet space in the lobby at Wright in the Bloom Beauty Lounge). Roberts explained that I’ve never seen anything like that before.
When a generous invitation to experience alchemy in my inbox, the first thing I want to know is whether the two experts who work from head to toe are overstimulating. Little did I know that from the moment I walked into the room, everything would fall down later, and I knew I would be much lighter than I did.
Customized facial and reflexology
After the first inspection, Wright’s comfortable studio space resembles many other studios I’ve experienced in my beauty career. That’s until she pulled back the white sheets and filler of the elevated treatment bed to reveal a Chakra balance pad Injected PEMF (Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy) and photon phototherapy are amplified by 40 pounds of shimmering certified crystals. Wright spotted the mat at a meeting and decided to add it to her treatment bed to provide warmth and a full body detox. “It also has PEMF, which regulates your frequency by the frequency of the Earth, so it’s like a digital detox,” Wright explained.
Wright uses the all-inclusive facial model, which means she charges by time instead of surcharge. This means that if she brings technology into her space, she will include it in the time someone has a book with her. But the benefits of the face and everything that follows the back words begin before the client walks through the door. Before you arrive, Roberts chose two crystals, and her stuff will benefit you the most. After climbing onto the treatment bed, they place it on your chest (mine is the quartz crystal that promotes clarity and recovery, as well as pyrite that lowers my high anxiety levels). When Wright gave me a lifetime of face, Roberts’ focus was on reflexology that treated my feet to ground and relaxed.
One thing you can extend about this part of the treatment as long as you want to solve a specific skin care problem. Wright effortlessly blends more “traditional” facial methods with advanced skin methods such as LED, facial cupping, microcurrent, cryotherapy or ultrasound infusion to restore and balance the skin. “In the time someone asks, there are so many different ways we can do, so many things we can do…Why not have what you need?” Roberts added.
Chakra balance and energy work
Next, Roberts took over the treatment and participated in the chakra balance meeting and energy work. Moving from the end of the treatment bed to the top, she carefully placed her hands behind the client’s neck, closed her eyes and embarked on a journey of energy work and vibration recovery. “I really tried to use the energy when I put my hands on you because I’m going to pick the stones and oils for you, before you come,” she said. “Everything on the feet is used more to relax and feel any obstacles in the lower passageway (splenish, bladder, gallbladder, liver and kidneys).
Once your energy is dropped, she moves to the top of your head and neck, and she scans for any blockages and inflammation in the body. Roberts can also identify bones and digestive problems that have been previously fractured. If Wright knew the client before treatment, she wouldn’t share information with Roberts. Roberts may not even know your name before meeting in the therapy bed. “I will dig in advance of our service. I don’t need to know you! It doesn’t matter when you use energy.” The same process was the case when Roberts chose aromatherapy for treatment.
My Reiki Scan reveals four main things about my overall health, leading to Wright offering an easy solution:
- From my years as a classical ballerina, I have left inflammation on my right knee
- I eat too much cold food that can cause digestive problems… It’s worth investing in a juicy juicer for fresh celery to help
- My anxiety level is high and I can benefit from it using Ashwaghanda and Gaba to help them maintain their level
- My third eye was almost open and I needed more coaxing to reveal myself
ending
Roberts helps determine everything from old injuries to digestive problems, but Wright massages your hands and arms. The treatment didn’t end here… Roberts also had a medium gift. In the middle of my full-body scan, I was asked if I would like to speak to the spirit I knew. It was revealed that this was my grandfather, a man who died when I was fifteen. Most of what I learned about him came from having heart-warming conversations with my father, grandfather and aunt. Although I love knowing him through my family, I missed the opportunity to know him as an adult, so connecting with him in the afterlife made me feel deeply loved.
However, it should be noted that it can only be done if Roberts has provided the energy and access to her clients, so it depends on the meeting. But my treatment from Wright to the treatment of the initial facials with his grandfather through Roberts’s, my treatment made this one of the most meaningful experiences I have. It brings me a refreshing skin, a wholehearted heart, and an appreciation for the art mastered by this powerful duo: renewing the soul and body through touch.
Touch’s Alchemy is a service that is booked only by text, phone or email. Wright and Roberts can also be booked on your own at Bloom Beauty Lounge.
