Porsche First of all, it’s coming chili Electricshowcased the SUV’s performance in the Shelsley Walsh Hill climbing record in England. Development driver Gabriela Jílková drove the camouflaged prototype to obtain a new SUV course record of 31.28 seconds, beating his previous best in more than four seconds. The all-electric SUV also only hits the 60-foot mark in 1.94 seconds, matching the single-player racing car with initial acceleration.
The Cayenne Electric features the Porsche Active Ride, an advanced suspension system that maintains the vehicle level during intense braking and cornering, improving comfort and control. Although final adjustments are still in progress, Porsche confirmed that the prototype’s powertrain and suspension are already at production level.
Outside the track, Cayenne Electric demonstrates its daily availability by dragging two tonnes of classic cars and trailers, totaling about three tonnes, easy. Porsche says the SUV will offer up to 3.5 tons of traction, in line with the combustion-powered cayenne. The Cayenne Electric will officially debut in the near future, with its debut at the Goodwood Speed Festival (July 10-13), continuing Porsche’s second all-electric SUV.
