The so-called leader and another group of vegan activists on the West Coast with A series of crimes Border Patrol murder was arrested.

The THR group is linked to the agents who killed Marland near the Canadian border in January and five other homicides in Vermont, Pennsylvania and California.

Maland, a Minnesota native and Air Force veteran, worked as a Border Patrol agent at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Newport Station. He worked in the military for nine years and 15 years for the federal government.
It is not clear what brought the group members to Vermont.

Zajko allegedly purchased a .40-caliber and .380-caliber handgun in Tabor, Vermont in February 2024 Malan’s gunshots The Albany Times union previously reported that court documents.

Police added that as the investigation continues, they are coordinating with federal law enforcement partners and the state attorney’s office.
