It all started with Harrison’s imagination. Davis dominated the first half with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
However, in less than four minutes in the third quarter, Davis seemed to hurt his groin. Davis had abdominal pressure earlier this week.

After the Rockets recovered their property, Davis did not try to go back in another way. The Mavericks fouled to block the clock and quit Davis. He stayed on the bench area briefly before leaving the court and was not spotted on the bench in the fourth quarter.
The 31-year-old big man has had injuries in the past, but he did compete in a career-high 76 games last year.
