Brooklyn, New Yorker Edgar said he expects a huge demand for services in the free agent market, similar to the interest of late basketball star Kobe Bryant. If it turns out he’s stomped for his stompedman, Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn might welcome him back into the fold.
“Super Star” Dream
Berlanga must perform well in this battle as he faces a low-level man with marginal strength who has recently laid off his job from layoffs. Even Jonathan Gonzalez-Ortiz fought early in his career, he wasn’t that impressive. Now, at the age of 35, this battle will be surpassed. I don’t know where Hearn found him or why they were using him.
Berlanga (22-1, 17 KO) was hollowed out in the title challenge against unified super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas last September. So he is starting his new invincibility against Puerto Rican (21-0-1, 16 KOS) in the common feature slot on the Austin ‘Austin’ Ammo’ Williams vs. Patrice volny card. The activity will be displayed Living in Daz.
Jonathan Gonzalez-Otis: “I’m going to make up for the loss of time in boxing. I still feel good and my team believes in me. It’s a great struggle in Puerto Rico. Gonzalez-Ortiz is among the two fighters today Final press conference.
Eddie Hearn: “Edgar, welcome back. You know what this man will be. Puerto Ricans are strong. It’s a big opportunity for him, it’s a tough road, but it’s back this Saturday night leading to a big fight in the summer. But first, the business to take care of in Orlando.”
Edgar Berlanga: I’m back after a big big fight against Canelo. We want to go out there and shine like the stars on Saturday. Going out to perform, it looks good. I’m fighting another Puerto Rican in Puerto Rico. so. I know he is doing his best and giving his all. ”
Hearn: “You had a big fight with Canelo Alvarez. That night, you gained more fans and fighting at this level makes you more eager to get back there. Suddenly, you were hunted there. This guy had the opportunity to change his life and try to get into the kind of battle you expected to have in the summer. How important is it to get the job done on Saturday night?”
Berlanga: “I’m locked up now. It’s a little show for me. I’m just out and shining like stars. Going out and doing business and having big fights. I’m not ignoring this man. He comes to win. He’s Puerto Rican, he has Puerto Rican blood in it. So, I know he’s fighting. He’s not running around, trying to survive. He’s going to try to prove a little bit. I just want everyone to know that it’s going to be a blood bath.”
Hearn: “The kind of battle you want. You want someone who is very suitable for Edgar Berlanga.”
Berlanga: “1000%, that’s what we wanted, a real fight. Obviously, I walked 12 rounds, with Canelo toes, no running, no grip, no holding or nothing. I stood in front of his face and went 12 rounds. I was looking for the same result, but Saturday was different. That was I won, I looked good.”
Hearn: “We expect this war. Puerto Rico vs. Edgar Berlanga against Jonathan Gonzalez in the house. Don’t blink 168 pounds. Edgar Berlanga has a huge fight in the summer, and it’s a huge opportunity for this man, Jonathan Gonzalez.”
