First on Fox: president Donald Trump’s Fox News Digital learned that the White House has abandoned executive privileges of key members of former President Joe Biden’s inner circle.

When commenting, one of O’Connor’s attorneys confirmed the letter received by the White House lawyer’s office.
Last week, Comer summoned O’Connor after physicians refused to volunteer for a transcribed interview with House investigators.

“We are not aware of any circumstances in which the Congressional Commission summons doctors to prove treatment for individual patients,” wrote O’Connor’s legal team. “And, the idea that the Congressional Commission would do so without any consideration of the confidentiality of the physician’s relationship is shocking.”

“After balancing the interests of the legislative and executive departments, according to the requirements of the accommodation process, the President believes that this situation presents a special situation in which Congress demands information outweigh the executive’s interest in maintaining confidentiality, especially given that the executive’s own interest in determining previous action litigation,” the letter said.
