Bill Maher slams elite American universities as “indoctrination factories” and jointly fights Donald TrumpThey are planned to reform, saying they need to do “poker” on Friday’s HBO “real-time”.

Maher answered an audience member’s efforts to reform American universities: “Academics need a poker – …our universities have been out of control for a long time. They have become indoctrination factories… There is absolutely no diversity of ideas.”

Trump has been launching wars for the country’s top universities, involving anti-Semitism, DEI and a lack of diverse ideas. Trump has retained billions of dollars in federal research Funds from ColombiaHarvard, Yale University and other top schools to enable them to reform campuses.

Since the Oct. 7 attack on Hamas, anti-opposition incidents across the country have soared across the country. Furthermore, research shows that universities are declining intellectual diversity, with liberals exceeding conservatives.

Harvard professor urges universities to embrace ideological balance in clashes with Trump administrators

After the Ivy League schools settled with the government, Trump resumed research funds to Colombia, paying more than $221 million to address various federal civil rights investigations targeting it. The deal includes $21 million to resolve anti-Semitism complaints. The Trump administration calls the deal the biggest anti-Semitism solution in history. Colombia is also committed to fighting anti-Semitism and discrimination on its campus.

Maher acknowledged that he believes that withholding the scientific research fund is not the right course of action, but rather opposing universities becoming very anti-American. He also said that the professors hidden in their “ivory tower” are already out of touch with basic moral decency.

“Why do you think they’ve had so many cheers about what happened on October 7? Why do you want the professors to come there and say they’re excited about this massive massacre of people? Well, that didn’t happen overnight, it’s the tower of ivory, and they’re also very anti-American.”

“When conservatives think, you can’t say the other side of the coin no matter what you think. It’s just abbreviation, and that’s basically what’s happening,” Maher said.
