Tourists are Yellowstone National Park On June 21, the animal witnessed the tragic death of the bison as it fell into the near-boiling waters of the Great Prism in the Geyser Basin midway.
Witnesses posting photos of the incident On social media The bison said, walking a few steps along the shallow water as he turned around and walked out quickly. The animal then apparently stopped, then turned around and walked into a deeper area where it was trapped and unable to release itself.

“Unfortunately, I witnessed the buffalo Large prismatic spring Yesterday morning. It took a few steps along a shallow area to the right of the pool, and it turned around and quickly walked out. It stood for a while, then turned to spring, walked into a deeper part, and could not leave despite the best efforts. I have a video about it for the last breath, but it’s a tough watch,” Louise Howard wrote in a Facebook post.
Howard told CBS News That “do your best, it can’t get rid of it.”

“These bison corpses are basically sitting in an almost boiling pool, … boiling water will swallow on organic materials, tissues, and eventually there will be some bones,” Poland said. NBC News.
The magnificent prismatic spring is 300 feet wide and its waters can reach 192 degrees Fahrenheit.
