James van Straten is a senior analyst at Coindesk who specializes in Bitcoin and its interaction with the macroeconomic environment. Previously, James was at the Swiss hedge fund Saidler & Co. Worked as a research analyst, where he developed expertise in on-chain analysis. His work focuses on monitoring traffic to analyze the role of Bitcoin in the broader financial system.
