Bowers & Wilkins and Monastery Road Studio 801 Abbey Road Limited Edition Sudspeaker has been announced, a special edition commemorating their 45-year collaboration.

Limited to 140 pairs, this reference quality speaker is based on the well-known 801 D4 signature model. Each pair is finished and trimmed to reflect Abbey Road’s unique studio space and legendary instruments, known as the “House of Music Making.” The speakers feature vintage walnut cabinets inspired by the studio interior and come with custom red leather from Connolly Trim, which references Studio Two’s control room and red leather chairs used by performers.

Each purchase includes a specially commissioned book detailing the long history of Abbey Road and Bowers & Wilkins, as well as previously unpublished photography. The partnership began in 1980 when Abbey Road engineers used John Bowers’ 801 speakers as their monitor of choice.
