Lightweight contender Floyd Schofield (19-0, 13 kos) played the first-round technical knockout on Saturday night in the 10-round bottom card at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on Saturday night, Tevin Farmer (33-9-1, 8 KOS) on Saturday night.
Farmers are not prepared for Schofield’s power
The 36-year-old farmer looked slow from the block, with his chin claws and bent over in front of the young jumper Schofield. The former IBF super lightweight champion farmer seemed unprepared and he paid the price.
Schofield released a straight right, slamming the farmer into the canvas. When Tevin stood up, he looked drowsy, letting the referee know he was fine. He is not. Schofield chased him like a hungry shark, connecting with three shots, and fell the farmer for the second time.
Surprisingly, referee Gerald White allowed the fight to continue, although the peasants seemed to have no mental presence. Schofield then marked him with three punches, and the referee had no choice but to stop the game. Time is 1:18 in the first round.
Punching statistics
