Boxing Results: Norman Jr.

WBO middleweight champion Brian Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 KO) slaughtered a very match #2 second-ranked contender Jin Sasaki (19-2-1, 17 KOS) in a brutal fifth-round knockout Thursday night at OTA City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

It was a one-sided battle, with Norman Jr. dropping three 23-year-old Sasaki three times. The finals featured a broken left hook in the fifth round, leaving Sasak1 flat on his back and it looked like he was cold.

Surprisingly, the referee counted as he lay motionless on the canvas. The downtime is 46 seconds in the fifth round.
