Jair Bolsonaro, a former Brazilian President, was accused of a huge scheme on Tuesday to try to undermine his nation’s confidence in the elections by 2022 and then overturned that voice even after his connections could not find evidence of fraud.
Brazil General Paulo Gonet Branco accused Mr. Bolsonar and 33 other people for a series of crimes against Brazilian democracy. The fees basically accept Recommendations from the Brazilian Federal Police in November.
The case will now go before the Supreme Court in Brazil, which will analyze the accusations and decide whether to order the arrest of Mr. Bolsonar and let him face the court.
The lawyer, who represents Mr. Bolsonaro, had no immediate comment.
