Harris English will be next week’s Open Champion In Royal Portrush, there is probably no match for him.

English BabyEric Larson is currently unable to obtain a new Electronic Travel Agency (ETA) visa to travel to the UK, which now applies to Americans.

Thirty years ago, Larson pleaded guilty to his Midwest friend Pai Cocaine. Although he was not a user or a large dealer, he was released in June 2006 for 10 years and three months in prison and was released from a midway through June 2006.

Larson said he didn’t realize he needed an ETA visa until the U.S. was opened and he was denied when he filled out the form. Reasons for denial include an applicant who was convicted of a criminal offence in the UK or overseas who served 12 months or more in prison.

“I think Britain doesn’t look high in his past,” English-language Renaissance club said Tuesday. “Obviously this is an ongoing work.”

English, 19th in the world, 10th in the United States Ryder CupHe didn’t realize Larson’s plight until he tied for fourth in the Travelers Championship three weeks ago.

English said he had contacted British Ambassador Warren Stephens, who kept in touch with his chief of staff.

“They wrote a letter. R&A wrote a letter. PGA Tour wrote a letter. Charity Event Eric wrote a letter in the United States (Operation New Hope). It’s not for the lack of effort,” English added. “I think it might be sitting on someone’s desk somewhere in the government.”

English is part of the 2021 Ryder Cup team, during the demolition of the European team, in the whistle channel of Europe – two years later revenge in Rome – Larson on the bag. This year’s event will be held at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York.
