California girls, their families and other activists will advance to the office Inter-California Federation (CIF) protested Friday against the state’s law that allows biology male transgender athletes to participate in women’s sports.
The protests were organized by the California Family Council, which announced the rally in a press release Thursday. Several female athletes will speak at the event’s press conference, including Taylor StarlingKaitlyn Slavin and Celeste Duyst.
Starling and Slavin filed a lawsuit against their district Riverside Unified school district after a trans athlete occupied Starling’s college cross country last fall, accusing school administrators of comparing their “Save Women’s Sports” T-shirts with Swastikas.

“It’s about justice,” said Sophia Lorey, director of outreach at the California Family Council, in a press release. “The girls in California are occupied by policies that ignore biological reality. CIF must answer for this.”
