Anti-Israel activists Mahmoud Khalil In a new interview with The New York Times on Tuesday, Hamas’s terrorist attacks have rationalized.

When asked about his opinion on the fatal attack, he said it was “breaking the cycle, breaking behavior that Palestinians were not heard”.
“Because there was no political process at that time. It was clear that the deal in Saudi Arabia was very imminent and that the Palestinians would not have any way to establish a situation and self-determination,” he said.
The activist clarified that he did not think Hamas’s actions were justified, saying: “So, based on their calculations, they have to do this – obviously, that’s not right.”
“It is wrong to target civilians,” he added.

Elsewhere in the Times interview, Mahmoud expressed sympathy for the Gaza outrage towards Israel.
