Canelo Alvarez roasted challenger Terence Crawford at a press conference today at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Canelo: “Not at my level”
Undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo (63-2-2, 39 Kos) continues to focus on his theme, namely, Crawford (41-0, 31 KOS) hasn’t fought for anyone in his 17-year career. He said the only reason Terence looked “good” is because he was “Fight with anyone.“There are no lies here.
The only thing Crawford, 37, can say is that he fought Errol Spence, and the boxing public has not given him honors because it was after Errol’s terrible 100 mph crash in 2019. Canelo had a field event today to let Crawford know that he wasn’t at his level.

Canelo Alvarez: “Hey, you say that because you’re fighting no one, and you obviously look like a great fighter (when you hit less opposition).”

Crawford’s social media fans tried to defend him, noting that he defeated Ricky Burns and Yuriorkis Gamboa in his career. These battles took place 11 years ago in 2014, and that doesn’t even count.
The reality is that Crawford did not build a resume and should have fought for the world championship with Canelo in 168. He was because of the fights of Turki Alalshikh, but he shouldn’t get it like fighters in the department like Diego Pacheco and Christian Mbilli.

Crawford should have been better than the previous session, because he didn’t have much to say. Today, Crawford is like a broken record, repeating himself and losing his temper when asked about him in some similar questions from different media members. Instead of using the other answers, Crawford sounded like a parrot, saying he would be “on Mount Rushmore” after defeating Canelo.
