Police body shots show the moment when police use Capybara costumes to conduct drug raids in Lima, the capital of Peru.
The Escuadron Verde (Green Squad) police team is a professional unit of the Peruvian National Police who often wear high-end dresses to cover up their agents during celebrations such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.
“On this time, Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, we are trying to disguise ourselves with the character of kale flowers,” said Col Pedro Rojas, the head of the department.
Peruvian police had previously dressed up their police officers as Marvel characters Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow to conduct drug raids.
