Luxury travel goods manufacturer Carl Friedrik It introduced its first all-leather accessories capsule – a two-piece release, described as “returning to its roots.”
Founded in 2012 by Swedish brothers Mattis and Niklas Oppermann, the latest silhouette of the London brand – the “Foley” cardholder and the “Clifton” passport sleeve – form part of it Recent release “Son” series.
Both items are made of high-quality semi-aniline cowhide leather with a full grain finish – a material that has become Carl Friedrik’s signature. Foley is a vertical cardholder with a “subtle curved outline” with four cards and a “hidden” side compartment for storing notes or receipts. Adding it to Clifton, which is an elegant all-leather passport sleeve that includes a discreet extra pocket – or, as the brand describes, “extra rear pocket” – large enough to hold a card (like a boarding pass). Additionally, both profiles feature smooth Vachetta leather trim – small design details that help lift and perfect each piece.
The new product is available in three colors: “Black”, “Chestnut” and “Dark Olive” – selected as a palette to complement the above-mentioned son’s collection. “We designed small leather products in the same way as we were more than a decade ago,” Mattis Oppermann said. “Minimalism with purpose, skilled craftsmanship and fine materials always stands out.”
