U.S. authorities warn consumers to check their cans after some accidentally fill with vodka.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has issued warnings about Astro Vibe Blue Razz version of beverages.
After the packaging supplier mistakenly transported empty Celsius cans to Vodka Selzer High School at noon, the mix happened, which filled them with alcohol.
At noon, I recalled some beach variety packaging from the same production line. The USFDA added that no disease or adverse events have been reported for the affected product.
Recall affects two USFDA production batches Published on its website. The products are shipped to retailers in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin between July 21 and July 23.
The recalled lunch bags include retail code UPC 085000040065 and the following batch numbers:
- L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59
- L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00
Celsius cans include retail code UPC 8 89392 00134 1 and lot number:
- L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11
The batch code is lasered at the bottom of the can.
“Consumers are advised to use intake photography with impact batch codes, glittering blue Razz Edition tanks without consuming liquids,” the USFDA said.
It added that the packaging of the high noon beach variety with different batch codes is not affected by the recall and can be consumed safely.
