If anything has been proven in the past year, it is BoyIt’s not just a summer, it’s a lifelong pursuit. Now you can have a “Go for you” In your daily life, anytime, anywhere. Charli XCX and Converse doubled the Legacy Shoe (Chuck Taylor All Star) by giving Converse’s Legacy Shoe (Chuck Taylor All Star) through the “you can customize” experience. Yes, you heard it. Now you can spin your spin on your custom iconic Chuck Taylor all-star shoes inspired by Charli XCX
Before the launch, we had the opportunity to chat with Charli, who was eager to work with Converse and the impact of fashion in her daily life. “Fashion is a big part of my life and creativity. It’s so straightforward. You can convey your feelings immediately. That’s why I love it so much. I’ve been thinking about clothes and the world they fit into the ones I’ve created, so it feels natural and fun to work with Converse in this way,” Charli explained.

The “through you” experience is designed to bring a little Charli XCXiconic party girl aesthetic home. Each shoe carries painful details, such as distressed trompe-l’-il prints. You can choose between selecting several Charli-style colors directly from her favorite Converse (brown rice, winter sky and bridal rose). Most importantly, customers can add lyrical accents and other coded details.
Shaley also explains how all aspects of this collaboration make it a natural extension of everything. “The distressing details printed on the shoes, rather than the troubled fabric, encourages people to destroy the shoes themselves, and the party girl logo is on the floor and keeps walking all over the shoes, again the spirit of the kid. It’s all very interactive and you can do it yourself.”
