Production in collaboration with Merrell’s fashion avant-garde 1trl Department, its amorphous shape is informed by the clouds around Mount Fuji. Compared to speed, the focus is stillness, reflected in the fusion of the architecture and nature of the battle. Its unique upper features two folded fabric panels that twist and spiral on the feet. Below, a neoprene sock embraces the wearer, while the sole is light and adaptable, ready to welcome the many terrain of the large outdoors. Both color options begin with “Khaki” and it sees its light brown cover upper as the black will make the sole look like the sole. Its “black” counterpart is stripped of color and instead provides a monochromatic surface.
The Côte & Ciel X Merrell 1Trl Hut Moc 2 is scheduled to be released on June 27 via Côte & Ciel in its “Khaki” and “Black” color schemes. From there, it will be launched on June 30 through the Merrell and Merrell 1TRL inventory groups.
