Owner of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, three-story restaurant and banquet room on lincoln avenuesued in August, claiming the mayor repeatedly promised to sign off on liquor licenses that had been approved by the village board but did not.
In court on Wednesday, Henyard, who also serves as country liquor commissioner, reportedly vowed again to sign off on the license, but she did not meet the 5pm deadline on Thursday.
WGN-TV reported that the parties returned to court again on Friday, with Henyard arriving half an hour late for the hearing.

“This should be over by November,” Tiffany Kamara, one of the owners of St. Patrick’s, told WMAQ.
Vakovich said his client is seeking a third permit and has other consequences for the mayor. “We want her to be fined. We want her to pay her attorney fees and we want damages. She hurt my client,” the attorney reportedly said. “We’re wasting money every day…taxpayer money. This is A nice building for people to use, let alone work in. ”

Hennider’s attorney, Max Solomon, reportedly tried to justify the delay.
“It’s very important for people to understand that the document that was signed today has another entity. That’s the holding,” Solomon told WMAQ. “That’s the only thing.”
Fox News Digital reached out to Henyard and Solomon for comment but were not immediately heard from.
