Dave Allen firmly believes that the fighting style of the Russian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov is perfect for his fighting style. That’s why Allen (24-7-2, 19 KO) chose him as the opponent to fight at Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England on October 11. They will fight in DAZN’s 12 rounds.
Allen said he hopes he can be Agit Kabayel as he will be able to attack Makhmudov’s body in 2023 to make the battle easier. Kabayel stopped Makhmudov (20-2, 10 KOS) in the fourth round.
Makhmudov style suits Allen
If Makhmudov fights anywhere close to Kabayel’s performance, he will likely knock out Allen in the first three rounds. In that battle, he was in contact with some big shots on Kabayel, while others were barely missing.
“I make people miss it, I can punch holes. I have hardly any T-Rex Arms,” David Allen said Socket boxingtalked about his struggle with Arslanbek Makhmudov. “If you get close to me, I can take you from four inches away.”
Allen didn’t have a hard time hitting in the last two battles with Johnny Fisher. If he believes he is hard to hit, he is joking. The only reason Fisher has a problem is that he is a bad heavyweight.
“Mark Mudov will kick me in the hand. I’m very satisfied with what he did.” “I think people will be surprised at how fast I’m going to hit back. It’s a huge improvement and I think he’ll be the favorite. I already love the game. I really like it when I look at him a lot of people. It’s for me.
“People say I need to hit him on my body and take him a few shots. I’m not Kabayer. I wish I was Kabayer. If I wake up tomorrow, I’ll be a happy person,” Allen said.
