Dave Allen firmly believes that the fighting style of the Russian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov is perfect for his fighting style. That’s why Allen (24-7-2, 19 KO) chose him as the opponent to fight at Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England on October 11. They will fight in DAZN’s 12 rounds.
Allen said he hopes he can be Agit Kabayel as he will be able to attack Makhmudov’s body in 2023 to make the battle easier. Kabayel stopped Makhmudov (20-2, 10 KOS) in the fourth round.
Makhmudov style suits Allen
If Makhmudov fights anywhere close to Kabayel’s performance, he will likely knock out Allen in the first three rounds. In that battle, he was in contact with some big shots on Kabayel, while others were barely missing.
