David Marcus: Democratic New England is the most crafty region in American history

When one thinks of New England, they tend to think of charming little college towns, frozen winters and interesting accents, but something else should be added: The area is the most important person in history that favors Democrats.

Re-division is the hottest story in the United States right now, as state lawmakers have fled Texas, some go to New England to stop voting Change the Congressional Map of Lone Star StateAnd may give Republicans five more housing seats in Washington, D.C.

Democratic strategists say parties lack “moral authority” in Texas rezoning battle

But when painting the area to close the minority party (which is indeed Grimand’s real), the New England Democrats had a perfect record: 21 house seats spread across six states, rather than a single Republican representative.

Frankly speaking, the possibility of Republicans winning a House game in Mississippi in 1860 is the same as a 2025 match in New England.

Democrats would object that this is a very free region, or that maps cannot be made in states like Massachusetts to accommodate Republican seats. But in fact, there are millions of Republicans in New England. President Trump almost won New Hampshire in 2024, with Maine having a Republican senator (at least) in Susan Collins.

Not long ago, former Republican governor of Massachusetts became a Republican presidential candidate in the form of Mitt Romney, so that’s not to say New England has no conservatives, they just don’t have any representation.

The only area close to this congressional imbalance is the Great Plains, with only three Democrats out of 18 House seats. But then again, it is not the Republicans who call Gerry a threat to democracy that it must violate the law to stop it.

And, to borrow a sentence from the anti-drug ads from the 1980s, “They learned this from watching you, Democrats.”

These Texas Democrats escaped the dominance of dominance in protest of their party’s absolutely perfect approach, and you can’t be better than 21-0.

Ultimately, redistribution of house seating is essentially subjective. There are many things to consider when making maps. Geographical distance, race, urban and rural areas, and of course partisan affiliation. There is no gold standard.

In the past, the so-called bipartisan or nonpartisan blue ribbon committee failed to create a fair model. Now it is recommended that artificial intelligence can do this, but which AI, its AI, what prompts are? “Draw fair areas?” Who is defining fairness? Do you see the problem here?

Before the liberals’ war on election fragments in the eyes of Republicans in Texas, they should really remove the boards from New England’s eyes and exclude the Republican House area.

No, most importantly, the Texas Democrats lost the Texas Legislature fair and square, while the Texas Legislature re-divided under state law.

The only leg that Texas Democrats may have to stick with is that what Republicans do is unconventional and therefore so consistent with the spirit of the law that requires criminal citizen disobedience. But if so, why don’t it be needed in New England?

Before the liberals’ war on election fragments in the eyes of Republicans in Texas, they should really remove the boards from New England’s eyes and exclude the Republican House area.

Democrats have become addicted to emergency politics, which calls for field stunts and violates the law. They yelled and said we were falling into fascism and we had to wake up!

Honestly, telling voters that they “must wake up” is as effective as I try to get me 15-year-old up before 7am on Saturday.

Most Americans don’t think we are in an authoritarian emergency. Some do this, especially those who have loud or have a great platform, but you don’t see Texas voters protesting in thousands of rezonings.

Ultimately, it is very likely Texas re-division will happenby hook or cheat, sturm und und drang will reach high heaven.

But just remember that when this happens, it’s like New England’s old-fashioned legendary New England, excluding the Republican Party from the House of Commons, will continue to grow rapidly, no one, but no one will be shocked.
