Delta shared with Exit that there were nine crew members (two pilots and seven flight attendants) on board, as well as 226 passengers. Everyone was able to exit the plane normally, and the passengers were later transferred to another plane.
The airline also confirmed that local firefighters and Delta’s maintenance team inspected the plane after the incident.
