Trump’s Department of Homeland Security is mocking several House Democrats for “sports court” as they demand entry into one Baltimore ice processing facilities.
More than a dozen Democrats sued Trump administration “Illegal Obstacle of Congress oversight” Monday after Democratic lawmakers on the Maryland Congressional Mission were denied access to the rink.
Sens. Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks, Maryland Democrats, along with Rep. Glenn Ivey, Johnny Olszewski, Sarah Erfreth and Kweisi Mfume appeared in Baltimore in Baltimore Monday but were denied entering the building with ice lowering.
After being denied access to the facility, the organization held a press conference outside the building where Mfume said: “We had to stand outside, bump into the door and finally sit in front of the door.”
Democrats filed a lawsuit against the District of Columbia in the U.S. District Court on Wednesday.

“When ice detention is more than ever, there are 56,000 people (56,000) as well as reports of abuse, overcrowding, unsanitation, unsanitation, and detention of U.S. citizens are growing, and real-time oversight requires real-time, never more urgent,” one of the law firms representing members of Congress said in a statement Wednesday.

“The following is the fact. Members of Congress also shared a letter he and Elefreth sent to Noem on July 23, in which two demanded the immediate release of Daniel Fuentes Espinal, a Honduran immigrant and pastor who claimed they were wrongly arrested by the ICE.
