Donald Trump says that the United States and Russia should “immediately” begin talks about the Ukraine war

President Donald Trump said Washington and Moscow will “immediately” begin the end of the war in Ukraine after talking to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The call on Wednesday showed a dramatic turn in the US Russia relationship in the middle of signs that Washington would back up after almost three years of their support for Ukraine War.

Trump card wrote on his social platform of truth that he and Putin had “agreed to work very well” and to express the trust that conversations were “successful” and “no longer lost life”! He said the two leaders had also agreed to visit the other’s nations.

The President told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday that he and he and he Putin Would meet in Saudi Arabia. The conversations are organized by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

The call between Trump and Putin, which the Kremlin said, lasted almost 90 minutes, was the first time that Washington and Moscow had spoken at the highest level since Ukraine’s full invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

The global oil prices fell and Brent Rohs decreased by $ 75.25 per barrel by 2.3 percent. The United States is among the western countries that have imposed sanctions against Russia energy sector since the invasion.

Trump spoke to Putin before he described Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president, in a sign that the United States may not want to work together with Kyiv or the EU on a common strategy to bring Russia to the negotiating table.

The United States also gave cold water on the hope of Ukraine to secure a promise, to join NATO and to restore its limits to the period before Russia in 2014.

A personal meeting would be the first US Russia summit since Joe Biden, Trump’s predecessor, marked Putin in Geneva in 2021.

Trump said he was largely dealing with Putin on the phone, but they would also meet three times.

“We expect him to come here and I will go there”, but “the first time that we meet in Saudi Arabia, we see if we do something” and added: “We know the crown and I think it “I’m a very good place”.

“I’m just here to try to get peace,” said Trump. “I don’t care that I would like to stop doing millions of people.”

Russia has laid out a tough position before all talks and recalled the NATO roller role in Eastern Europe in Eastern Europe and insisted that Ukraine recognizes its annexation of four southeastern regions, nobody fully checked it.

The selection of the Kremlin of the call was more reserved than Trump and did not suggest that Russia was ready to alleviate his attitude.

Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s speaker, said the reasons for the conflict ”.

He said Putin invited Trump to Moscow and was ready to meet US officials to discuss “questions of mutual interest”. The two guides also discussed bilateral economic cooperation and the Iranian nuclear program, Peskov told reporters.

Trump said he had headed Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, CIA director John Ratcliffe, the national security consultant Mike Waltz and the special representative Steve Witkoff to head the US negotiation team. Trump’s list did not contain his Ukraine sent Keith Kellogg.

After his call with Trump, Zelenskyy said that the two had a “long conversation about the possibilities of peace”.

The Ukrainian leader said Trump informed him “about the details of his conversation with Putin”. He said they also discussed “technological skills, including drones and other modern production”.

A Ukrainian official Ukrainian said that Zelenskyy also told Trump about the situation on the battlefield and the commitment of North Korean troops to fight together with the Russian armed forces in the Russian region of Kursk, where the Ukrainian military started an idea last year.

Trump later wrote about the truth that the call with Zelenskyy was “very good”.

The announcement by Trump, however, confirmed the fears in Kyiv and Europe that the United States would not involve the EU or European capitals in the negotiations on the future of Ukraine and have shifted into a more conciliatory position towards Moscow.

In a statement, six European countries, including Germany, France and Great Britain, said.

They added: “We want to discuss the way with our American allies forward. . . Ukraine and Europe must be involved in negotiations. “

On Wednesday, the US defense minister Pete Hegseth said on Wednesday that a permanent peace for Ukraine had to “lock up robust security guarantees” to ensure that the war would not break out again. He added that Washington “didn’t believe NATO membership A realistic result is for Ukraine ”.

Hegseth told his NATO allied in Brussels that Washington believed the defense clause.
