“Harry Potter” actor Tom Felton defended JK Rowling on Sunday night Tony Award After being asked about her strong liberal rebound in views on gender and biology.
The British actor was on the red carpet at Sunday’s awards ceremony, and was interviewed by variety shows in the Broadway drama Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The play is based on the original story co-written by Rowling, and takes place 19 years after the last Harry Potter novel.
Felton was asked if the controversy was around Rowling’s Trans-Sex View He denied his work. Rowling has been a strong advocate of female monosex space and has been repeatedly labeled as trans by left-wing activists.

Felton said before praising the author of the series: “No, I can’t say that.
“The only thing I always remind myself is that I’m lucky to travel the world – I’m in New York – I haven’t seen anything that makes the world more important than ‘Potter’,” Felton explained Diversity. “She is responsible for this, so I’m very grateful.”
Felton previously expressed admiration for the author in a 2022 interview because she faces criticism from trans activists.
“I’m quick to remind myself and others that for some reason, ‘Potter’ brings together more people around the world and generations than anyone else in the past 20 years, and I’ll celebrate that soon,” he told the London Times in an interview in 2022. “It comes from one person, she is, so I’m very grateful.”

Rowling Felton starredhas not lost its appeal to fans.
In addition to Broadway drama, the series adapts to the upcoming HBO TV Series.
Felton shared his excitement for a reenactment of Porter’s role after his Broadway debut.
“I think we all think we might be in a difficult situation over the years, but obviously not,” he said. “The most exciting part is the live broadcast. It took nine months to shoot the movie, more or less, and it was all compact. It’s all reconstituted into a very loving new type of story. It’s really fun to be a dad.”
