Initiator Eddie Hearn predicts heavyweight contender Filip Hrgovic will eliminate Joe Joyce’s “three to four rounds” in the co-op live arena in Manchester, England on Saturday, April 5.

Hearn felt Joyce’s resistance was reduced from his two knockout losses to Zhilei Zhang and the thousands of dancers he’d done over the years. He noted that veteran Derek Chisora had hurt Joyce’s 39-year-old punch in the fight last summer on July 27, never did it earlier in his career.
Saturday’s Joyce vs. Hrgovic event will be displayed Living in Daz. The main card starts from ET/11 AM PT, and the main event ring walks around ET/2 pm pt.

The result of the ninth round knockout with Chisola scored was still a close fight, but Joyce shouldn’t lose that fighter’s level. Best of all, he will beat any version of Chisora.
Compression resistance
“The problem is some fighters, and Joe is a good example. Joe has been slow. He has never been like this sensational, skilled fighter,” Hearn said. “In the past, he was very tough, he could beat him, he was a big chunk and his chin was a great one. His fist resistance changed as the career went on.
“The shooting that caused damage to Chisora never hurt him. The two of them failed, and the heavy brawls of thousands was a problem. If you want to predict that he (Joyce) will get a good attitude on Saturday, which will be three to four rounds, and I think it will be three to four rounds.”
Joyce was eliminated twice in the first round in his 2013 amateur career. However, he was able to recover from the KO loss and avoid being eliminated again until he met Zhilei Zhang in 2023.
If Zhang had a huge hole punch like Zhang knocked out, then there would be no shame because if he had a similar punch interaction with him, he would have done the same thing to Anthony Joshua. Zhang is the only one to stop Joyce. In the failure of the Sword Saint against Chisora, he was never at risk of being eliminated. He was dropped in ninth, but it was more like a knockout.
Hrgovic form
Hrgovic said Joyce is now “old” and looks bad and needs to “retire” after a fight this Saturday night. Of course, Filip was eliminated in his last battle on the same boat and was injured in a match against Demsey McKean on August 12, 2023.
Hrgovic was beaten in his last fight and Daniel Dubois was eliminated in the eighth round on June 1 last year. If Joyce could hold on for long enough to shoot his heavy shot, he might put on hrgovic to score. Dubois wasn’t the fastest either, but he forced him to wear his hrgovic.
