Edgar Berlanga’s bitter farewell: United home event relegated fuel free agent “superstar” dream and “super battle” demand after exit from the game room

Edgar Berlanga is suffering from his battle with Jonathan Gonzalez-Ortiz (20-0-1, 16 KOS) will be a joint event on Saturday, March 15 at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida, rather than a major event.

The activity will be displayed Living in Daz. Berlanga’s farewell battle with Matchroom is not headlines, but on the trump card of Austin Williams vs. Patrice Volny.

Berlanga (22-1, 17 KOS) said he was supposed to have headlined in Puerto Rico on March 8, but promoter Eddie Hearn kept sending him contracts he didn’t like, including those involved with the extension of his matchroom.

Berlanga doesn’t want to do that because he thinks there is a lot of demand for him as a free agent. He wants “Buy a bag.” According to Hearn, Berlanga wanted to participate in a relaxed comeback battle after losing to super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez last September. He wants to participate in the main activities of non-drainage combat.

Berlanga’s payday to Canelo is huge, with rumors claiming $10 million, suggesting Hearn has provided him. Arguably, he didn’t beat any first-class fights to fight and wasn’t interested in fighting former WBA “regular” super middleweight David Morrell.

Saturday’s card on DAZN

Austin Williams and Patrice Wallney
Edgar Blangga and Jonathan Gonzalez-Otis
Jamaine Ortiz vs. Yomar Alamo
Jose Roman Vazquez vs. Jalil Hackett
Pablo Valdez vs. Mauro Maximiliano Godoy
Leon Castro vs Carlos Jamil Carl Rogers
Omari Jones vs. Alessio Mastronunzio

Free agency program

“This free agent trip will be like Kobe, LeBron, Carmelo Anthony and Michael Jordan,” Edgar Berlanga ThaboxingVoice About his contract with Matchroom, after the battle with Jonathan Gonzalez-Ortiz ended on Saturday, he expects his need for services.

There is no doubt that once Berlanga enters the free agent market, there will be a lot of demand for Berlanga’s services. you will never know. If Turki Alalshikh and Dana White’s TKO boxing match want to sign Berlanga, he’ll be happy. However, Berlanga needs to be protected to allow him to be meticulously guided in a way that matches the room and top rankings. Turki and Dana can’t put Berlanga in their best case scenarios, hope he does a good job. He may lose repeatedly. Dana said the warriors with them would be lost. So maybe it doesn’t matter if Bellanga beats over and over again.

“You think I want to sit here and fight with Matchroom. If I were a free agent now, I would be fighting the big fight now,” Berlanga continued. “That would be Munguia, Caleb (Plant) or (Jermall) Charlo. My purpose is for top dogs.”

Jermall Charlo, 34, hasn’t fought for two years and he’s not the type sold in the headlines of PPV against Berlanga. This requires older people to be interested in buying activities because they are too inactive.

“I was scheduled to fight in Puerto Rico on March 8 at the main event. Eddie Hearn and his crew have been sending back contracts that we didn’t like and they wanted to do an extension. We didn’t want to do an extension. I wanted to do one and do one and say goodbye to them and then do it in Puerto Rico. They didn’t look right in front of us,” Berlanga said.

Note: Rumors are that Belanga wants to fight for the Puerto Rico show is a 39-year-old traveler Pink gabe (26-17-1, 15 Kos), who beaten 0-4 in his last four games and has not won since 2021. Obviously, it will be a bad farewell fight for Hearn’s game room and DAZN and show it in one of their cards. They want to provide value to fans, and Berlanga vs. Rosado will be pure poison.

Superstar identity?

“I don’t want to fight in a co-hosted event, but it’s a sacrifice for me so that I can be a free agent so that I can do my own moves and do what I want to do. I’m at that level now I’m a superstar now. I’m a quality battle, I sell tickets, and I’m an essential fighter on TV.

Berlanga is not a superstar. He is popular in parts of New York and Puerto Rico. As far as the rest of the United States is concerned, he is simply a manufactured fighter protected by his promoters, matching the tomato can, which has led him to a cash battle with Canelo Alvarez. He did so, and he wanted to leave the match room to express his gratitude, thinking things would be better for other places in him.

“I want to have 168 big, big, big, big battles. I think if I could use the TV network alone, because the TV network is the boss’s network,” said Belanga. “The TV network is the ones who take out the money and then the promoters spend the money on the fighter plane.

“So no matter what I decide to promote a big mega fight with any promoter and the TV network we offer, we can work hard so that we can both eat and make history. This is Jaime Munguia, Caleb Plant, Jermall Charlo. It’s about the action of money. It’s about making a lot of money for me and another person on the ring.”

Whoever signs with Berlanga must be satisfied with being beaten while fighting a good opposition, but he doesn’t show him how to do a great job with any top super middleweight middleweight match. His best career wins were Padraig McCrory, Jason Quigley, Steve Rolls, Roamer Alexis Anguilo and Marcelo Cass.

“You got me. I’m going to be 28. You have munguia, he’s 28. You have kaleb plants. He’s in his 30s. Charlotte is in his 30s. These guys want to make legacy, history and make bags. So when they retire, they have family, children, and can eat well,” Belanga said.
