Elon Says He’s Launching ‘the America Party’ to Compete With Democrats and Republicans If Budget Bill Passes

Elon Musk threatens to launch his own political party called America party if the so-called “big beautiful bills” by President Donald Trump. And while the billionaire oligarch had suggested the idea almost a month after his fall with Trump, he seems serious this time.

“If this crazy spending bill passes, the American party will form the next day,” Musk Tweetis Monday. “Our country needs an alternative to the Democrese Unipity, so that people actually have a voice.”

Spending the bill was quite a slogan for the Republicans, even when they hold a majority in both rooms of the congress. As it stands, the bill would be a massive transfer of wealth from the poorest Americans to the richest, causing about 11.8 million Americans to lose their health insurance and add $ 3.3 trillion to the federal deficit, according to the Congressional Budget Office. But only that last part of the deficit moss seems worried, even though some Republicans have expressed concerns about the number of people who will lose Medicaid coverage.

Musk, who started Trump’s expression by making two Nazi-style greetings, also tweeted on Monday about how he would fund primary challenges to anyone who voted for the Republican bill, putting it in the kind of dramatic language that the far right spanned in the Trump era.

“Every member of the congress, which campaigned for reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt growth in history, must hang his head shamefully!” Musk wrote Monday. “And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this earth.”

Musk was Trump’s right man as Doge’s boss earlier this year, but had a dramatic space with the president who was quick to breathe. Musk said Trump is in the Jeffrey Epstein FilesHigher referring to the president was involved in sexual abuse, while Trump threatened to take away Musk’s lucrative contracts. Musk later backed back, removing his tweet accusing Trump of Epstein ties and giving up a threat to stop igniting astronauts to the International Space Station.

It is unclear what Musk could do to realize his New American party, but he was obviously deeply involved in political organization before. This is the guy who spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars to get Trump and other Republicans elected in 2024, starting his own political action committee called America PAC to perform the work.

Musk is also frustrating due to the growth of the debt ceiling, something other Republicans like Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky opposed.

“It is obvious with the senseless expense of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling with a record five trillion dollars we live in a one-party country-La Porky Pig Party! Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people,” Musk wrote.

In addition to the deficit and the debt ceiling, Musk also clearly upset its own companies chopped by a decline of tax credits for issues such as electric vehicles.

“The latest Senate project bill will destroy millions of jobs in the United States and cause huge strategic damage to our country! Completely nonsense and destructive,” Musk wrote Sunday. “It gives manufactures to industries from the past for severely damaging industries of the future.”

As the richest man in the world, it would be easy for a guy like Musk to hire a team and start his own political party. But that doesn’t mean anyone chosen from that party would be Cinch. The two -party system of the United States is arranged in so many ways that the average person does not understand. But one thing most understand is the electoral college and how it creates a uniquely unfair system among liberal democracies. The most notorious example is perhaps Ross Perot’s presidential bid as an independent candidate in 1992. Perot won 19% of the popular vote, nearly 1 of 5 of all votes thrown that year for president. Perot was awarded zero vocational college votes.

Musk is a rich guy. But it remains to see if even the richest person in the world can challenge the Washington’s two -party system in such a stacked system.
