Ah, Miami – a sunny city that caters to all kinds of hobbies and whimsical things. Sunrise Beach Yoga? Check. Party boat tour? certainly. Late night exercise class, then Michelin-starred dining? nature. I once found myself taking the Kundalini Awakening class on the Moon and heading straight to the nightclub. Of course, I’m slightly out of this budget (ten weeks is a long time), but the parts below are something I touched time and time again – the backbone of my Miami closet. They are universal, really stylish, and many can still be used or have very similar versions online.

Pants

Of course, pants may seem like a weird option for warm weather, but as someone who is less willing to expose their legs, they are the top choice for every temperature. Packaging three completely different fabrics can offer a large variety of styles, so consider these struts if you also like longer legs. Or, of course, you can change to shorts.

Olina silk pants
Silk pants may not be the first style that spring, but I was wearing more than I thought. The linen pants are upgraded and they look particularly polished, lightweight, ventilated and comfortable. My very old Zara pair has been a staple in my closet for years.
Agolde
Low-bent mid-length wide-leg jeans
A great pair of jeans is essential in any closet, and this lighting style from Agolde is some of the most comfortable denim I have ever worn. Use them as the basis for countless casual outfits.
Max Mara
Pleated linen wide-leg pants
Now, for Miami, the pleated beige pants seem a bit formal. But with bohemian, simple vest or bikini style, you will instantly have an elevated beach look. Mine (now there are two too small sizes) have years of history for ASOS, and these look like a good alternative.

A pair of great sunglasses can change any outfit. For maximum impact, I prefer a larger frame, but the sleek narrow lens is also striking. However, make sure you keep the box in your schoolbag or you end up playing between changing the lens or having blurred vision next to the key like me.
These mulberry black mirrors are statement pieces with square lenses and thick cream edges. I’ve been in a year and can prove that they inject a cool feeling into any look.
Chloé

The most complimentary item in my entire wardrobe is probably my Chloé sunglasses. My octagon pairs sold from a sample from a few years ago (the price was only £75 there, which is a bargain), but this new style is most similar to online.

If you are looking for a pair of luxurious sunglasses, I also ask you to pick up a cheaper pair. If you want to swim at sea, jet ski or do any kind of water-based activity, these are the ones you want to wear. Usually, my new look shadow is the only one that is unscrapped.

Throwing a lot of tops into the suitcase and hoping for the best things are so easy – we all did. But reach your destination and find a “I love (insert random city here)” tank, a vibrant pink vest, and wearing it too well in a t-shirt, that won’t be great. Instead, it’s easy to wear classics: crispy white shirts, neutral vests and bohemian tops. All of these are the core clothing building blocks in my Miami wardrobe.

Few fashion finds more versatile than simple white shirts. Whether it’s the poolside style that lays on a bikini or stuffing it into your pants to make it more formal, I’m going to wear this exact option at least every week.

Classic vests are the core foundation of many classic outfits, whether wearing simple jeans and fluffy slippers or a more luxurious sequin miniskirt. I have a few shadows in stock Toteme options, but this Zara finds very similar.
The aesthetics of bohemian style remain largely powerful as Chloé. If you haven’t accepted ruffles and floating fabrics yet, a holiday might be a good time to try it out. I have more wear and tear than I thought from my elastic mango shirts (sold out now, sorry), and this H&M style is sure to be the same.

Shoes are essential for a holiday that is often underrated flip flops. After years of trial and error, I narrowed my hot holiday choices to just three core pairs that can be equipped with a lot of clothing.
Charles and Keith
The metal pointed rod has a flat bottom.
These precise silver apartments are my “any occasion” shoes that actually took me to the beach to the bar. Highlighted silver shades instantly improve any garment, while the practicality of the shape is enough for impressive steps.

I found that during the holidays, the key trick to maximizing clothing building choices is to choose dresses that are easy to layer. Simple sliding can be tucked into the pants seamlessly, becoming a cami top or hiding under a shirt to look like a skirt. This is an easy and effective way to pack more of the look into your suitcase without paying for extra luggage.

90s style skateboard dresses are once again popular and they are one of the most versatile pieces anyone can have. My Alice + Olivia Mint Green option is now sold out, but this similar Topshop style is perhaps more stylish. Put on jeans or spread the T-shirt on top to make the look more laid back.
Damson Madder
Boobs mini dress
This statement’s territory Damson Madder dress has long been a brand bestseller, and it’s one of my most complimentary discoveries. In colder climates, place a pullover on a chunky jumper on the top and make sure to keep the collar on it. Suddenly, it seemed even more amazing.
A simpler neutral dress will be the ideal foundation for a variety of looks. Although my M&S brown silk dress is now sold out, this similar style can easily layer a crisp white shirt or a Boho shirt for two completely different effects.

Trusted beach bags are essential for a holiday, especially when you ship around your laptop, kettle and other daily necessities that the holiday may bring. By the sea, my first choice is the Rafia tote bag. In the city days, it’s hard to beat the celebrity dune braided shoulder straps. I also cleaned up my mom’s Gucci Bags that started in the 90s now count as old-fashioned.

Straw bags are practical, especially stylish when you choose a size that is large enough to accommodate SPF, water bottle or even towels. My style has been from puzzles for a long time, but this Loewe basket has a similar shape and a more stylish design.
Katie Holmes, Iris Law and Bella Hadid are all wearing it Iteration of this bagmaking it a key figure for fashion fans. This exact style has earned a lot of praise from my home in Miami and London.

Retro bags are hard to beat, and this monogram style is sure to add a good nostalgic dose to any look. My mom’s version is a little smaller, but has the same iconic print, which is one of my favorite works.

Of course, without bikini (or three), the Miami packaging list will be complete. Although I’m not a person who can mix and match the top and bottom (no matching set), I packed three different shapes to make each shape feel like a completely different look. To further expand my outfit combination options, I also paired each of these tops with a different pants. After all, we were on the beach.
