Hendrix added that Hardin used to look rarely at human life, “Now, everyone in the woods is an opportunity for this person’s equipment.” Arkansas authorities warned that escapers could be armed and dangerous.
“I’ll definitely stay away from the area,” he said.

Hendrix said at this weight, Hardin had a calorie reserve that could help him survive for weeks alone in the wooded areas of Ozarks, which have hundreds of caves and natural resources, including food, water, berries and other natural food supplies.

Police searching for Harding in the wilderness may look for “hidden” evidence that a person living in the woods, such as burned fires or other materials that have been covered up or underground fires.

The FBI and the U.S. Marshal will provide a $25,000 sum to obtain any information that led to Harding’s arrest. They ask anyone with information to call 1-800-call-fbi or submit a prompt online tips.fbi.gov.
