Iconic filmmaker, elusive visual artist and self-proclaimed night owl Jim Jarmusch It’s hard to fix. But, he and Sports room The first collaboration has released an exclusive collaboration, which is only available within the next 48 hours.
True to his character, the artwork on the deck also has a story of late-night origins. About 40 years ago, the filmmaker sat in the early hours of the night and took a snapshot of an influential black and white film on a simulated TV screen. Until now, these photos are still hidden in the archives.
The result is an unforgettable but visually beautiful collage. Each deck has a random combination of three snapshots. Like most of his work, the fantastic narrative between each photo depends on the audience’s interpretation.
To commemorate the release, Jarmusch also collaborated with Miami skateboarder Beatrice Domond to film a black and white short film. The clip takes Dormond trying the deck while riding on the streets of New York.
