The Amazing Four: First Steps not only Look unlike with Every other main superhero film in recent years, it also has an unusual sound to match. Following Tickets To be sold for the film, Marvel released the full track for the main theme of the film, created by a longtime film composer Michael Giacchino.
There were inserts of the theme in trailers and IMAX’s pre-roll for Thunderbolts*So we already knew that it would sound like the 1960s as the world in which the heroes live. But hearing the full thing really emphasizes the importance of a composer who vibrates with the material and wants to make a score exciting and memorable music. For the most part, this is something that Marvel doesn’t really act well, except for works composed by Alan Silvestri or Ludwig Göransson or the more recent work of son Lux Thunderbolts*.

But having memorable music is what Giacchino has always been good – his scores for the latest Star Trek movies are still sublime, and his Amazing Four: First Steps Work sounds like some of his best for Marvel specifically. (Starting with the first Dr. Strange, He is composed for the MCU Spider-Man trilogy, Thor: Love and Thunder, And Wolf at nightThis -last, which he also directed.) Like everything else of this movie, the score sounds promising, and we can’t wait to hear everything, Ditto seeing the Punny titles that Giacchino definitely came for every track.
Amazing Four: First Steps comes to theaters on July 25.
