Athletic Director of Florida A&M Arrested for allegedly stealing more than $24,000 from her former employer.
Angela Suggs handed herself in the Leon County Laber on Monday and faced several charges, including felony grand thief and felony program. Suggs, who was later released as Bond, also faces four counts of false claims on travel vouchers In Florida.

Suggs, 55, was hired by Florida A&M, who graduated, about the same time as the investigation was initiated. She has been CEO of the Florida Sports Foundation for the past seven years.
“Florida A&M University is aware of the allegations our athletic director Angela Suggs has when working with former employers.” Statement to WTXL.
“While this matter has nothing to do with her duties as a FAMU employee, we are monitoring the situation and will respond appropriately in the future.”
