The previous one UFC Fighter Ben Askren’s wife Amy revealed that her husband had a double lung transplant.
Askren has been treated for severe pneumonia in the hospital for weeks. Amy Aksren wrote that her husband had been supporting him for a while before he was transplanted.
She wrote on Facebook On Monday, after weeks of waiting for donors, her husband finally found one.

“We are forever grateful to the donors and his family,” Amy wrote. “This is the beginning of Ben’s new lifestyle, but the gift he has every day is a gift. Still, it’s not like he’s walking around completely healthy 5 weeks ago. So fast, it can be changed so quickly.
“Please let Ben pray that his body welcomes the new lungs as if they were his own.”

Amy said on June 24 that this was included in the transplant list.
A donation page was set up to help Askren treatment funding earlier this month and updated it within nine days of Amy’s online, saying Ben was on the ventilator.
She added that the doctor was able to “a sedation device for weaning, allowing him to open his eyes and squeeze his hands.”

“I’ve always been in awe of everyone who’s taking us all.” “I can’t wait to tell Ben everything. I hope Ben will give the next update in the next few weeks, but hopefully he’ll wait until the drugs drop.”
Askren, who has a 19-2 record, retired from Mixed Martial Arts in 2019. He only fought in the UFC three times and won only one of his games.
In 2021, he also fights Jack Paul In a boxing match, he was eliminated in the first round.
Paul recently said he plans to donate to Askren to help his medical expenses Recent battles Against Julio César Chávez Jr.

Askren is also a wrestler, winning two NCAA titles and also representing the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
