Francesco Risso will quit Marni after nearly 10 years as creative director. The message Vogue Business Marni’s parent company OTB this morning.
Born on a sailboat, Risso was appointed as the captain of the house as early as the high-stakes moment in 2016. Although his initial inexperience was a creative lead, he encountered intense criticism in the fierce initial criticism to successfully push the most peculiar creative label of Italian fashion to a new stage of relevance and success.
OTB Group Chairman Renzo Rosso promoted Risso to Marni’s highest job.
