The group also said that another issue for Gemini on Memorial Day was “the glory of war,” saying: “Some people think that the focus on military sacrifice can unintentionally glorify wars rather than just respecting the fallen and reflecting on the cost of conflict.”

Fox News Digital asked Gemini on Friday and got the answer: “The main purpose of Memorial Day is to respect all of us Military personnel The “holiday history” of death during service does contain elements that can be seen through a racial perspective. ”
One of the reasons Gemini has caused controversy for Fox News Digital is that “in some southern states, some states continue to adhere to separate alliance anniversary, honoring those who fight to maintain slavery, many who are considered racially insensitive by many and reminding of the pain of dividing the past.”

Gemini told Fox News digital numbers, “While respect for the behavior of the fallen service members is not inherently racist, the existence of historical context, selective narratives, and attitudes toward the alliance means that Memorial Day history and commemorations have been intertwined with racial issues.”
A Google spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “As with many other models, Gemini are trained on web content and does not reflect Google’s opinion.”
“We respect the sacrifices of American service members on Memorial Day’s Google homepage every year, reaching tens of millions of Americans,” the spokesperson added.
