The Hamas Ministry of Health in the Palestinian Territory has died of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.
It said that since the Israel-Hamas war began in 2023, the total number of malnutrition deaths has reached 154, including 89 children.

Israel said it was not imposing restrictions on aid entering Gaza – claims that were not accepted by its close allies in Europe, the United Nations and other institutions active in Gaza.
Meanwhile, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff will travel to Israel on Thursday to discuss the crisis.
Sources at Gaza Hospital were killed in another development on Wednesday morning at the BBC near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) Aid Allocation Centre in southern Gaza on Wednesday morning.
Sources said the crowd had tried to enter the distribution center before opening and was attacked by Israeli tanks.
GHF told the BBC there were no murders today at or near its site.
The IDF told the BBC a “club of suspects” that the country’s “criminal suspects” posed a threat to its troops and was told to leave, and the army subsequently fired a “warning shot” at a distance of “hundreds of meters” from the distribution center.
The military also said: “The initial review showed that the number of casualties reported was inconsistent with the information held by the IDF.”
There are fatal events happening almost every day near GHF aid sites, with Palestinians often accusing Israeli military or security contractors of opening fire on them and killing those seeking assistance.

In a statement late Wednesday, Hamas-operated health ministry said 103 people were killed in the past 24 hours and one body recovered from the rubble. According to the statement, 60 of them died in seeking assistance.
Israel imposed a blockade on aid delivery in early March and resumed its military offensive against Hamas two weeks later, shutting down a two-month ceasefire. It said it hopes to put pressure on the group to release its remaining Israeli hostages.
Although lockdowns have partially eased nearly two months later, food, medicine and fuel shortages have worsened, despite warnings of looming famine by experts around the world.
Israel launched an attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, with about 1,200 people killed and another 251 people taking hostages.

In another development, Israel responded enormously to the pledges of British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, recognizing the Palestinian state in September unless Israel meets certain conditions, including the prospect of a ceasefire and resuming a two-state solution.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the UK’s position rewarded “the great terrorism of Hamas”.
A British woman in Hamas kidnapped the hostage and said Sir Keel “is not standing on the right side of history.” Emily Damari, who was released in January after being detained by Hamas for more than 15 months, said the prime minister was “adventure rewards for horror.”
