“Heroic” firefighters attacked in Idaho

Police and emergency personnel are experiencing active shooting scenes, and several firefighters were reportedly shot dead.

A spokesperson for Beihu Fire Protection confirmed to Fox News digital numbers that “there are positive shooter situations and very active wildfire scenes and are related to it.”

Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office An alert was issued saying: “Active shooters in Canfield Hills. Although the severity is still unknown. Please avoid the area.”

Officials confirmed that firefighters were blasting on brush near Gulch Road East at the time of the shooting. ”

Firefighters had to retreat due to the danger, and the brush fire continued to pose a threat. Authorities urge nearby residents to remain vigilant and act cautiously as the situation develops.

Republican Brad Little confirmed the incident in an article on X, but rarely provided specific details.

“This is an outrageous direct attack on our brave firefighters. I ask all Idahos to pray for them and their families as they wait for more learning. Teresa and I are heartbroken,” Little wrote. “As this continues to develop, please stay away from the area to allow law enforcement and firefighters to do their jobs.”
